QUARTETTO SAVINIO UND COSTANTINO CATENA
The Quartetto Savinio, one of the best quartets of our days (Il Resto del Carlino). The energy of the Quartetto Savinio (La Stampa). The Quartetto Savinio reminds the strenght of the Quartetto Italiano (l'Unità). The Savinio, ensemble that shows the rigorous work on the individual and the group draws valuable requirements in terms of technical agility, rhythm and sound thick poignancy (Corriere della Sera). The Haydn's Quartetts are not just pages and yet are in a young but ready to conquer the interpreter Savinio gallons of maturity (Il Mattino). Quartetto Savinio, a young ensemble, positively started, as evidenced by the numerous awards already obtained in spite of short path (La Gazzetta di Parma). They are maybe the heirs of the Italian Quartet for the executive's power and research in contemporary music (La Repubblica). The instrumental skills level of Quartetto Savinio is excellent (Washington Post). The joy of playing, the care of details, the warm sound and lyrism that the Savinio Quartet shows, makes this recording as captivating and compelling as the famous Melos 70' recording (James Leonard, All Music Guide USA).
Founded in February 2000 by its current members, the Quartet Savinio captured the attention of critics and audiences for its excellent technical skills and choices of interpretation since their debut at the Teatro Diana in Naples.
